Meredith A. Gray

Meredith’s military and civilian careers have overlapped throughout the years, but she began her military career in 1995 with the West Virginia Army National Guard.  In 1999, she accepted a fulltime/federal government position with the West Virginia Air National Guard where she served in three different units, 130th Mission Support Group, 130th Communications Flight and Headquarters, WVANG, until her retirement in 2024.  She retired as a Senior Master Sergeant with 29 years of military service.

Meredith’s early civilian career included working in retail and tourism.  She later started working full time for the state government in 1996.  In 1999, she transitioned to the federal government position with the West Virginia Air National Guard.  Her civilian and military experience includes administrative, Information Technology and Human Resources specialties.

Meredith has also been a member of several community support organizations over the years.  She has served her local community as a volunteer firefighter since 2002 and has recently attained the position of Captain with the Ansted Fire Department.  She is also an active member of her church’s youth group.

Meredith holds a bachelor’s degree and an associate degree from the WVU Institute of Technology.  She also holds an associate degree in business administration from the Community College of the Air Force.

James P. Gray (Pat)

Offering over three decades of leadership experience in corporate, public, and volunteer organizations, Pat brings a passion for maximizing results and caring for the success of those he works with.

Pat brings 30+ years of corporate experience across business operations, customer and employee experience, and sales leadership.  He currently serves as the Deputy Fire Chief for the Ansted Fire Department, providing dedicated service as a volunteer firefighter to his community since 1987.  Pat also serves as the President of the Fayette County Board of Education in his 4th term on the board and holds the position of President-Elect for the West Virginia School Board Association.  In June of 2024, Pat completed a six-year appointment on the WV Commission on Professional Teaching Standards and is a member of the board of directors for Rainelle Medical Center.

Pat holds a master’s degree in management from the University of Phoenix, he holds an undergraduate degree from the WVU Institute of Technology and is credentialed as a Project Management Professional (PMP)® since 2007 from the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Together

Pat and Meredith currently reside in Fayette County, West Virginia, and share four wonderful children and four wonderful grandchildren.  They have a Great Dane, Huckleberry, and two horses, Buttercup and Lacy.
